In line with the global significance of International Women’s Day, the Illawarra IWD Committee’s annual March lunch has evolved into one of the region’s premier events. In 2022, the event marked its 17th year of:
- Highlighting women’s issues and driving awareness to inspire change both locally and nationally.
- Providing essential funding to local women and support organisations, empowering individuals on their journey to success.
Team Waples, together with event partner Bluejuice, was engaged by the Committee to deliver a comprehensive marketing campaign. This included concept design, digital and print assets, signage, content marketing, PR, and event collateral. The creative approach was bold and aligned with the global ‘#BreakTheBias’ theme, ensuring strong engagement with the Wollongong community.
Key Results
- Developed an impactful marketing campaign and event materials.
- Sold out the event, attracting over 900 attendees.
