Aligned with the global reach of International Women’s Day, the Illawarra IWD committee’s annual March luncheon has grown to become one of the region’s most anticipated events. In 2023, the event celebrated it’s 18th year of:

  • Bringing women’s issues to the forefront and raising awareness to help drive change at a local and national level.
  • Providing funding to local women and women’s support organisations, to support individuals on their path to success.

Team Waples Marketing along with our events partner Bluejuice were engaged by the Committee to deliver an integrated marketing campaign including concept design, digital and printed assets, signage, content marketing, PR and event assets. Creative needed to be bold, reflective of the global campaign ‘#EmbraceEquity’, and most importantly, engage with the Wollongong community.

  • Raised more than $600,000 for local women’s support initiatives since inception
