Overboard
Overboard Surf and Ski offer one of the best venues for surfers in the Illawarra. With over 500 boards available, they are sought out by serious surfers. However, being two blocks away from Wollongong’s main shopping precinct, they ned to shout out their story in a loud voice. Waples have designed a powerful branding and retail advertising campaign that shows the market just how amazing Overboard is, with a capital ‘O’.
WATTYL
Wattyl Paints were innovators in the “odourless paint” market at the onset of environmental awareness in Australia. to advertise this development, 4 x 15sec Television Commercials were created to show delicate situations in which an odourless paint was a tacit advantage. A 15 second promotional ad was also created as a cherry-on-the-top, offering $50,000 of environmental home improvements to the lucky winner. The result was one of the first environmentally advantageous paints to be successfully launched onto the Australian market.
Maguire & MacInerney
When high profile law firm Maguire & MacInerney were joined by well know local lawyer Nigel Duncan, it was a combination of talents worth making a fuss about. A simple classic 15 second TV treatment with a clever Waples payoff line did the trick.
Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk
The Illawarra’s fabulous treetop walk, The Illawarra Fly, offers one of the most breathtaking vistas on the New South Wales coast. With the new theme, ‘High adventure close to home’, Waples reignited interest in the local catchment area while bringing in additional ‘out-of-towners’ to experience a very worthwhile family day out.
